Tarot Task: The Devil Reversed Revisited
The estimated read is 2 minutes.
What’s a tarot task? It’s a one-card pull that shares something we might consider doing to move forward productively.
Sometimes it’s a simple task, but with a major arcana card like The Devil, it requires a little more care and reflection.
I hope that this reading helps you whenever you come across it, even if some dated language on the time period occurs. There’s always an opportunity for reflection and rebirth. Every second of every minute of every hour of every day.
Our Card: the Devil Reversed
Release the baggage and prioritize your care, safety, and stability.
The last time I shared a reading on here I also got the devil reversed. It’s a never-ending practice to grow, learn what serves you, and shed what you’ve outgrown.
Don’t let expired social contracts bond you to past versions of yourself.
Move forward with love by communicating to yourself clearly what’s working and what’s not, then sharing that with others via thoughtful speech or mindful movements.
As we end the Gregorian year, we reflect on what we leave behind to make way for less restrictive movements to our personal and collective liberation.
Bonus: A song that felt right for this reading is Digging Around by Chlothegod. “I did some digging around in my soul. I found some things that just must go.”

I wrote extensively about the Devil card in my last post on the Devil reversed.
